AI Educator Summit
Tuesday August 4, 2026 10:30am - 11:20am CDT
How might educators use AI to enhance the work they already do — planning lessons, creating engaging content, and providing meaningful feedback — without losing the human judgment that makes teaching effective?

In this hands-on session, participants will explore practical approaches to AI-assisted instructional design through direct application. Working with real classroom scenarios, educators will practice using AI to create and refine lesson plans, develop interactive learning materials such as games, presentations, and multimedia resources, and design standards-aligned assessments. Participants will also experience how AI can support detailed feedback on both digital and handwritten student work, enabling more timely and personalized responses to student learning.

Participants will leave with concrete strategies they can implement immediately in their daily teaching practice, along with a framework for evaluating when and how AI support adds genuine value to instructional workflows.
