AI Educator Summit

This module prepares educators to guide students in responsible AI use across learning contexts. Participants will explore developmentally appropriate applications of AI tools for research, writing, problem-solving, and creative expression. The course addresses strategies for establishing clear expectations, teaching critical evaluation of AI outputs, and fostering digital citizenship. Educators will gain practical skills to adapt implementation approaches based on their organization’s available AI platforms, ensuring students engage with these technologies in safe, ethical, and productive ways.

Learning objectives:
  1. Develop guidelines and protocols for appropriate student use of AI tools that align with their organization’s policies and available technologies.
  2. Teach students to critically evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, bias, and relevance to learning objectives.
  3. Design learning activities that empower students to leverage AI as a collaborative tool while maintaining academic integrity.
