If discipline, hustle, and pure energy came in a bottle, it would be labeled Shay Gillespie, a visionary tech founder and AI educator reshaping how the next generation learns, creates, and earns in a digital world.Shay has spent more than two decades driving strategic technology engagements at World Wide Technology while simultaneously building her own ecosystem of impact. In 2016, she launched Color Coded Kids, now one of the nation’s leading youth AI education programs. What began as a coding initiative has evolved into a powerhouse platform teaching kids artificial intelligence, automation, digital creativity, and most importantly how to monetize their skills.A line from her original bio captures it best: “she’s turned tech education into a movement, teaching kids AI and computer science all over the country.” Today, that movement includes hands on AI projects, digital product creation, content development, and real world entrepreneurship training that shows young people how to build income streams using modern AI tools.Shay’s current work centers on developing AI powered digital products, automation systems, and creator economy content that model exactly how youth can leverage technology to generate revenue. Her mission is bold and clear: democratize tech, unlock AI for everyone, and equip kids with the tools to thrive in the future economy.Outside of her tech leadership, Shay is grounded by the legacy she is building at home in St. Louis with her husband of 22 plus years and their two sons, fueling her commitment to shaping a future where every child has access, opportunity, and the confidence to build something extraordinary.
