Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and longtime teacher of Spanish and STEAM: Emerging Technology. Rachelle has a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, a Master’s degree, and a Doctorate in Instructional Technology. Rachelle specializes in Artificial Intelligence, AI and the Law, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Cybersecurity, SEL, and STEM.
She has more than 8 years of experience teaching and presenting on AI in her classroom, as well as working with educators worldwide.
Rachelle is an ISTE-certified educator and recipient of the ISTE Making IT Happen Award and several presidential gold and silver awards for volunteer service to education. Rachelle presents keynotes and workshops regularly at conferences and provides professional development and coaching for educators globally.
She is an avid writer, contributing to multiple books and authoring ten, including her most recent, "What the Tech?” and “How to Teach AI: Weaving Strategies and Activities Into Any Content Area." She is a blogger for Defined Learning, EdTech K12, Edutopia, and Getting Smart. Rachelle is the host of the ThriveinEDU podcast, the ISTE Learning Unleashed Podcast, and “The Lift Podcast” via AWS hosted on the BAM Radio Network.
