Whether you just heard about SchoolAI for the first time or you have been using it for a while and want to fill in some gaps, this session is built for you. We will cover the core features every user needs to know, then move into some of the newer tools that are changing how teachers and students use the platform day to day, including Dot and the Browser Extension. You will leave with practical skills you can use right away and a clearer picture of where to go next.

In this hands-on session, participants will explore practical approaches to AI-assisted instructional design through direct application. Working with real classroom scenarios, educators will practice using AI to create and refine lesson plans, develop interactive learning materials such as games, presentations, and multimedia resources, and design standards-aligned assessments. Participants will also experience how AI can support detailed feedback on both digital and handwritten student work, enabling more timely and personalized responses to student learning.


Participants will leave with concrete strategies they can implement immediately in their daily teaching practice, along with a framework for evaluating when and how AI support adds genuine value to instructional workflows.

Let’s be honest: you don’t need another session about how AI can write an email to parents. This isn't about teacher shortcuts or administrative hacks. It's about how to design everyday lessons where your students use AI to think harder, not to cheat. Instead of bouncing around a dozen different apps, we are going to focus on four basic lesson structures that work in almost any subject. We will look at real, down-to-earth examples for math, science, reading, and history across different grade levels. You’ll get the exact prompts to give your kids, see "before and after" lesson examples, and get time to adapt these ideas for your own classroom so you can walk out the door ready to go.

The session will outline the legal frameworks governing the use of AI in classrooms, provide insight into addressing copyright issues, safeguarding privacy rights, and maintaining legal compliance when using these tools.
