Using Artificial Intelligence to Navigate Special Education Procedure and Policy
Wednesday August 5, 2026 10:30am - 11:20am CDT
Special education don't have a knowledge problem, it has a findability problem. The information needed is already written down somewhere: in IDEA, in state regulations, in district procedure manuals, in evaluation timelines, in the IEP handbook, and even in the compliance memo that came out last August. The problem is that no human can hold all of it in working memory while running a meeting, writing a present level, or fielding a parent question in the hallway. This seminar shows participants how to use NotebookLM, a source-grounded AI tool included in Google Workspace for Education, to turn their existing stack of special education procedure and policy documents into a searchable, conversational, and shareable knowledge base.
